The effects of divorce on young people's mental health - beneath the surface

How do children really feel about their parents' separation? How does it affect them, deep down? What might the ramifications be, many years later? Let's consider the children's experiences and remember that much of this continues to mould their feelings about themselves and their relationships, for decades after.


In this video, one brave young woman shows us the impact her parents' marriage breakdown had on her life. At 18, she is doing well but she is clear, that is not the whole picture.
